And seeing that her caretaker left. The calm and noble-like aura that Clopeh was radiating earlier completely disappeared. I really feel sorry for the White Star. I feel like he truly was unlucky. Like, imagine. You break the vow your ancestor made to place a curse on yourself in order to keep reincarnating over and over. You become the end of your bloodline. You kill dragons to prevent the gods from giving them oracles. Over the course of a thousand years you prepare many things to aid you in achieving what your idol failed to. And by some twist of fate when you're close to achieving your goal you just so happened to kill one bastard who ended up making a deal with the God of Death and swapped places with the bastard who just so happened to be the soul you kicked out when you were born into your current body. And that newly transmigrated bastard just so happened to gather the ancient powers of all the heroes who were the key contributors of your idol's failure. As if all that wasn't bad enough, the descendant of your idol shot you with a weapon you've never in your thousand years of life ever seen or heard of. Man, White Star is so pitiful.

When learning about the White Star's curse, I genuinely wondered if Cale and the White Star meeting was also an effect of the White Star's curse, because In my head, the White Star would appreciate anything that helps him achive his goal of godhood, so I thought that Cale winning and slowly taking, one by one, the White Star's subordinates was similar to how the curse makes all the things he apreciates disappear with time.
